Equine Assisted Learning helps individuals better understand themselves and others through participating in activities with horses and then reflecting on their feelings, behaviors and patterns that emerged in the interaction. Self- awareness develops through the reflections that allow individuals to apply the new insights to their personal lives to communicate more effectively, build healthier relationships, become better team players, develop problem solving skills, improve leadership abilities, and enhance their self-esteem.

Specially designed non riding activities allow participants to deepen awareness of personal issues, core feelings and areas of bodily tension that inhibit their ability to reach their true potential. The horses and qualified facilitators teach participants how to make powerful choices based on awareness instead of habitual patterns. By recognizing and moving beyond coping strategies associated with surviving competitively participants develop a resilient and flexible mindset capable of compassion, innovation, energy, adaptability, and creativity.

All activities are non-riding and take place on the ground. See FAQ.

It was amazing to see the horse respond so immediately when I got into deeper contact with myself.
